Amylu Meneses from Tamarack Lodge and Glamping Resort in Voluntown, Connecticut joined the We Do Wedding Podcast to discuss outdoorsy weddings, eclectic couples, and safari tents.
Tamarack Lodge & Indie Glamping Resort is a 28-acre destination in the middle of Pachaug Forest abutting Beach Pond Lake in southeastern Connecticut and can host anything from intimate weddings to a 2,000-person music festival! We also learned that it's also a vocational school during the weekdays, teaching construction, culinary, hospitality, and more.
Amylu has worked there under two different owners and knows so much about the rich history of the lodge. It was fun, hearing where the venue's roots are and where it's headed, with new safari-style tents coming soon that will further expand the venue's possibilities.
